Travers St Louis RV

I have never be so disappointed in a company in my life. We were sold a used RV, ready to go only to only have it in our possession approximately 3 weeks since our purchase, June 2023. We scheduled a walked through a week after the purchase only to be told that it didn’t pass inspection. After a month they finally found the problem, it had been straight pipe ( which was not discovered until several attempts at the inspection). Took another 3-4 weeks to get parts and do the work. Took first trip in August only to find out stabilizers did not work correctly. Took back, wasn’t “fixed” for another 3 weeks. Made plans to travel out of state for a week, had it plugged into shore power at home for a week prior to leaving and the morning we were to leave to batteries were not charged, so the stabilizers would not work, stopped at the shop, they put a quick charge on batteries and told us to run generator while we were on the road and we would be fine…….WRONG ……. No stabilizers the whole time we where gone. Got back and once again dropped it off at service………… 2 weeks in shop, parts finally order, as of today 11-6, still no parts and no RV. We had to cancel one trip this month and it looks like another is going to be canceled! I am so pissed words aren’t enough. My advice GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! They are as bad as Camping World!!!

Buyer beware. I bought a 2014 Thor with 2600 miles, ready to go, wrong. They don’t check out their vehicles. When they went to do state inspection it kept coding out. After some time they finally figured out someone straight piped one of the catalytic converters. After 1 1/2 months it was ready to go, wrong. Batteries wouldn’t hold a charge and therefore the jacks wouldn’t work. They also had that same problem with the jacks the day we bought it, should have been a sign. So waited a couple weeks for the part to fix that and ready to go again, wrong. Had to stop by there on our way out of town on our first trip cause the power panel continually beeping. Again no batteries. Was told to run the generator to charge up the batteries, done. Arriving our destination still no battery even after hooked up to shore power for a couple hours. Tyler in service has tried to be accommodating as possible and getting us right in but getting so frustrated with this whole thing and the sales personnel lied to us. Either that or they don’t know what’s going on, either way about ready to let them just repo the damn thing. Oh and the black tank won’t dump and we haven’t used it so another thing not checked. When I called in this time I was told by Andrew they are too busy and can’t get it in until the end of the month, and that’s to do warranty work. Good luck to you, you’ve been warned.

Worst buying experience ever! Was told the battery and awning would be replaced. Picked up the camper with the same awning, and old battery plus the camper was filthy. Their inspection and detailing was a joke - or probably never happened. We are out of state, they collected the sales tax and said they would get the tags and send them to us. That was 5 months ago - they have our money and we have dead temp tags. We have called no less than 20 times and are told every single time "I'll call you back today" or "I'll call you back tomorrow" only once has he actually called us back and has NEVER had an answer for what's going on with the tags or how they're going to remedy it and no refund on the awning and battery we replaced. BUYERS BEWARE and keep driving past Travers!!!!!!!!

I was traveling through the area and experienced mechanical issues. Called a couple of dealers as well as mobile services but they were unable to help. I called Rich and explained I was leaving the area later that day. He immediately asked how the Travers team could help with my problem and get me back on the road. The entire service staff is professional, friendly and customer service focused providing great communication, callbacks and updates during the process. They took great care in diagnosing, obtaining the parts and getting my issue resolved. Andrew was my rep that walked me through the repairs of my RV. He stayed in touch and was professional and kind. He dealt with the insurance company when they were giving me a hard time. He got them to pay for the complete repair. They washed and clean the inside and out. I was very comfortable working with Andrew and the company. I will be using them for now on.

We recently purchased our 1st travel trailer from Traverse St. Louis RV. If hes available, you must ask for Zach Edelen. As newbies we had a lot of questions, concerns, and desires in what we were looking for. Zach really took the time to understand our needs and what was best for our family. He did not push us to make a same day purchase or pressure us to come back in the next. We did our due diligence with other companies and ultimately came back to traverse ready to buy solely because of Zack's customer service and desire to help us through the process.
